Chalkboard Menus for 58 Social in Oracle Park

Even though I don’t follow sports, it was a bit of a thrill to get to do some work at Oracle Park in San Francisco recently! 58 Social had me in to create their draft beer menus before the season started.

These very tall, very narrow chalkboard menus were a little tricky to work on, as wall-mounted signs sometimes are! But once I got them all cleaned and prepped, the freehand-style lettering was fun to install. I worked out an appropriate lettering style beforehand and created the layouts onsite so that I could make sure the size and placement of the text would be clearly visible to customers.

The logo at the top of each chalkboard was left from the previous artist.
