Live Drawing at SF Small Business Week
Flashback to a piece I made for San Francisco for Small Business Week. During a breakfast event, the guests could submit their answer to “What is your future in San Francisco?” via a QR code in the program. I received their submissions and added them to a canvas in real time, on a side stage while the speakers presented on the main stage. Afterward, the attendees could view the piece, look for their contribution, and take photos.

The finished piece
I’ve done this type of live-drawing event a number of times now, and it’s always a treat. The interactive nature of the art is really engaging and fun for guests and it keeps me on my toes designing and drawing in real time. And it’s always lovely to talk to the guests while working or after the piece is done! Looking forward to doing more like this in the future.
