Examples of Freehand Work

“Freehand” designs involve a layout created in advance - the spacing of the lines, size of headers, etc. The lettering itself is drawn freehand onto the board in a “handwriting” style. Some elements such as custom lettering headers or illustrations may be designed in advance and transferred via pattern for consistency across signs or to save time.
